Busiest Web Sites on Black Friday
New York City, Target Corp.’s Web site was the fourth busiest Internet shopping site on Friday, with more than 2.9 million visitors, according to Nielson/NetRatings. Best Buy Co.’s Web site ranked fifth, with 2.1 million visitors. The retailers trailed eBay (9.5 million visitors), Amazon.com (4.6 million) and Wal-Mart Stores (3.4 million). Overall, Nielsen/NetRatings reported that 17.2 million people shopped on line Friday, up 29% from a year ago.
