Burns to step down from Stanley Black & Decker board

According to an article in the Baltimore Sun, Stanley Black & Decker board member Anthony Burns has told the company he will not see re-election after his term ends May 20.

Burns, who was under previous scrutiny due to a real estate partnership with Black & Decker CEO Nolan Archibald, said he no longer had time to continue, because he accepted a position on another board.
