Burlington Coat Factory sees slight sales growth

BURLINGTON, N.J. Burlington Coat Factory announced that net sales from continuing operations for the fourth quarter $780.9 million compared with $774.5 million for the comparative period last year. These results reflect a 0.8% increase in net sales and a 3.1% comparative-store sales decrease for the quarter.

Net sales from continuing operations for the fiscal year ended May 31 were $3.393 billion compared with $3.403 billion for the comparative period ended June 2, 2007, a 0.3% decrease. These results reflect a 5.2% comparative store sales decrease for the year.
