Brookstone Outlook Changed to Negative

New York City Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has revised its outlook on Brookstone Inc. from stable to negative. At the same time, it affirmed all ratings on the company, including the 'B' corporate-credit rating.

"The revision reflects the severe cutback in consumer spending and our expectations for performance to be below expectations for the fourth quarter," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst David Kuntz.
