British Airways to launch mobile virtual store

New York City Airline retail solution provider GuestLogix said Tuesday it has executed a multi-year agreement with British Airwaysto implement its Mobile Virtual Store onboard retail transaction platform featuring what it said is the payment industry's first PCI PED 2.0-certified POS handheld devices.

The GuestLogix technology is now being deployed on the British Airways' fleet to support onboard merchandising and duty-free transactions using cash and credit cards. No other terms were disclosed.
