Bring your dog to work day at Pet Supplies Plus

9/28/2015

Attending the Pet Supplies Plus Canine Crossroads grand opening were, from left to right, Miles Tedder, COO, Heidi Char, SVP Human Resources, Chris Rowland, CEO, Jim Jelinek, VP Distribution, Darrin Boas, Seymour City Councilman, Craig Luedeman, Mayor of Seymour and Brett Jamison, Seymour Parks and Recreation Director

One of the unconventional benefits of working at Pet Supplies Plus is workers’ pets have a new place to play adjacent to the company’s distribution center.

Pet Supplies Plus, a franchisor of pet supply stores in the Eastern U.S., opened a two-acre dog park called Canine Crossroads adjacent to its 760,000-sq.-ft. Pet Depot distribution center in Seymour, Ind. The Pet Depot opened in 2013.

Canine Crossroads is open every day from dawn to dusk for employees of Pet Supplies Plus as well as residents of Seymour. The facility features water fountains and separate play areas for large and small dogs.
