Brazilian Chain Looks to Expand in U.S.

New York City, OBoticario, with 2,400 stores in Brazil, has targeted expansion in the United States and Argentina as its main goals in 2006, according to a report in the Brazilian Retail News. The perfumery and cosmetics chain also expects to enter Iraq.

In related news, the National Retail Federation (NRF) has chosen Miguel Krigsner, president, O Boticario, as International Retailer of the Year.
