Borders Group names new fiction buyer

ANN ARBOR, Mich. Borders Group has appointed Jennifer Northcutt as fiction buyer for Borders and Waldenbooks. She reports to Micha Hershman, merchandising director of fiction and diversity.

Before being named to her new post, Northcutt served since 2006 as the young adult buyer in the children’s group. From 2004 until 2006, Northcutt served as assistant buyer, and prior to that, she served in a number of roles in both Borders stores and the corporate office.
