Borders: CyberSource selected for e-commerce management

ANN ARBOR, Mich. Similar to the idea “pay as you exit”, Borders has announced that it has entered into an agreement with a company that will allow online shoppers to be billed later.

Under the terms of the agreement, CyberSouce will provide a bankcard and “Bill Me Later” payment processing and fraud protection services for the forthcoming Borders.com Web site, which is scheduled to launch in early 2008.

Advanced processing systems will be provided by CyberSource-managed payment services to safely and securely manage payment activity throughout Borders.com's payment pipeline.

Customers will be able to buy online using a number of payment types including credit and debit cards, as well as Bill Me Later, Borders Group said.
