B&N finds 'nook' in e-reader market
NEW YORK Barnes & Noble announced that its new e-reader, "nook," will begin shipping at the end of November with a price of $259.
According to the company, nook is the first Android-based e-reader and the first to offer a color touch screen for navigation along with a best-in-class E Ink display for an immersive, enjoyable e-reading experience. Users of nook can also access AT&T's 3G wireless mobile broadband network and Wi-Fi. The e-reader also enables users to share e-books with others.
