Blue Martini to open at The Palms at Town & Country

8/25/2009

Miami TIAA-CREF, Flagler Development Group and Jones Lang LaSalle announced Monday that Blue Martini will open in The Palms at Town & Country, in Kendall, Fla., in spring 2010.

The 8,922-sq.-ft. restaurant and lounge will open in the Town Center’s 400,000-sq.-ft. open-air retail redevelopment currently under construction.

Blue Martini, with Florida locations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa and in Las Vegas, features 25 different martinis, live entertainment, a tapas food menu and a selection of fine wine and spirits.

The Palms at Town & Country, owned by TIAA-CREF and being redeveloped by Flagler Development Group, will house a total of 700,000 sq. ft. of mixed retail components and a 133,000-sq.-ft. Professional Arts Center when completed.

The existing 292,730-sq.-ft. convenience center underwent an expansive external renovation to incorporate Mediterranean-themed elements of the development’s new design. This portion of the Town Center, which is home to retailers such as New York & Co., Marshall’s, Men’s Wearhouse, Publix and Shaq's 24 Hour Fitness, remains open during the construction of the additional phase.

The second phase will feature 397,834 sq. ft. of new construction, open-air, Mediterranean-themed specialty retail home to national retailers such as Kohl’s, Nordstrom Rack and Loehmann’s.

Jones Lang LaSalle is the exclusive leasing agent for The Palms at Town & Country.
