Blockbuster site down due to system problem

DALLAS Visitors to the Blockbuster Web site today were greeted with a message informing them that the site will be unvailable.

On the Web site, Blockbuster said the site will be temporarily unvailable while the company makes changes to the site. The company added that it was working toward improving the Blockbuster Online experience.

According to reports, the site was taken down because of a systems problem.
