Blockbuster cfo to resign Dec. 31

DALLAS, Texas Larry Zine, evp, cfo and chief administrative officer of Blockbuster has agreed to resign from the company. According to a filing with the SEC, Zine and Blockbuster agreed that Zine's term of employment will end on Dec. 31.

Under the new contract, Zine is entitled to a bonus of $200,000, even if his employment is terminated before Dec. 31. He will also be entitled to his current salary through the end of his employment and a 2007 bonus as part of Blockbuster's senior bonus plan.
