BJ's elects Cournoyer to board

NATICK, Mass. BJ's Wholesale Club has elected Christine Cournoyer, president and coo of Picis to its board of directors.

Commenting on the appointment, BJ’s chairman and ceo Herb Zarkin, said, “We are extremely pleased to welcome Chris Cournoyer to the BJ’s Wholesale Club board of directors. Chris brings a wealth of experience in information technology and will be a tremendous asset to BJ’s management team as we move forward in our multi-year plan to upgrade and replace many of our technological reporting systems.”

Picis, based in Wakefield, Massachusetts, is a worldwide provider of software solutions for automating resource-intensive hospital documentation and business practices.

Cournoyer joined Picis, Inc., in 2006 from Harte Hanks, where she served as managing director from 2005 to 2006.
