BJ's bumps Povich to evp, general counsel

NATICK, Mass. According to reports, Lon Povich has been promoted to evp, general counsel and secretary at BJ's Wholesale Club. Povich joined the company last February as senior vp, general counsel and secretary.

Before joining BJ's, Povich served as a litigator at Boston law firm Goodwin Proctor, a prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney's Office in Boston, and a deputy chief legal counsel for former Massachusetts Governor William Weld.
