BJ’s BOD welcomes new board member

NATICK, Mass. BJ’s announced the election of Leonard Schlesinger to its BOD. Schlesinger is a leader across academic and retail industry sectors and is an acclaimed author, co-author or editor of nine books.

Commenting on the appointment, BJ’s chairman Herb Zarkin, said, “We are extremely pleased to welcome Len Schlesinger to the BJ’s board of directors. His breadth of retail experience as well as his organizational and operational expertise will be a tremendous asset to BJ’s management team as we continue to create value and enhance our members’ shopping experience.”

Schlesinger currently serves as a member of the corporation of the Winsor School. His past board service includes Borders, the Columbus Foundation, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, GC, Limited Brands, Pegasystems and the Ohio State University Medical Center Partners.
