Bissell launches two new products

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Bissell is unveiling two new floor cleaners that can help Americans get the job done faster and better.

Bissell's new Steam & Sweep hard floor cleaner is a fully powered, 100% chemical-free combination steam mop and sweeper that picks up dry debris and cleans hard floors, and when used as directed, it harnesses the natural power of steam to sanitize hard floors, the company said. The product comes equipped with an easy-empty dust bin, removable water tank that can be filled right from the tap, fast-acting water heater and purification system and high quality, washable microfiber mop pads.

Also new to the Bissell family is the PowerEdge hard floor vacuum captures debris along edges without the help of a broom or attachments, instead using its innovative V shape technology and distinctive foot design. Its strong suction and bagless, cyclonic technology provides a quick yet thorough clean on all hard floor surfaces as well as on low-pile rugs. The PowerEdge also comes in a unit that addresses the unique hard floor cleaning needs of pet owners, the PowerEdge Pet, which facilitates cleaning along edges and under cabinets where shed pet hair tends to collect.

Bissell's Steam & Sweep ($129.99), PowerEdge hard floor vacuum ($49.99) and PowerEdge PET ($49.99) will be available at many major retailers in early fall.
