Bissell encourages creativity with new contest

3/17/2009

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Bissell Homecare has launched its "If I Had $200" contest. The contest asks consumers to submit dreams for a $200 spending spree in the hopes of winning one of 31 prizes -- one per day through April 15.

"As a family-owned company, Bissell strives to deliver high-value, high-quality cleaning products consumers need to keep their households clean," says Jim Krzeminski, Bissell's EVP and chief customer officer. "Consumers should expect great cleaning at a fair price."

Through the contest, Bissell is engaging with its customers. Entrants are encouraged to show creativity and wit in their submissions, and can send in ideas in a multitude of styles -- be it a clever sentence, a poem, or a parody of a 90s hit song. The top entries from each day will be judged by a panel of Bissell representatives and posted on the Web site.
