Big Y rolls out customer marketing system from Retalix Loyalty
Dallas Software-solution provider Retalix said Tuesday that Big Y Foods has successfully completed the rollout of Retalix Loyalty as its next-generation customer marketing system.
Grocery retailer Big Y Foods has been a longtime user of Retalix StoreLine point-of-sale.
Big Y said it selected Retalix Loyalty because of its functionality and ability to handle targeted, sophisticated promotions through integration with Retalix StoreLine. The dynamic receipt feature of Retalix Loyalty provides clearer explanations to customers when running complex promotions, the company said.
“With Retalix Loyalty, the receipt becomes an information bulletin,” said Ray Carlin, executive VP Retalix USA. “The dynamic receipt feature enables retailers to target specific messages to specific groups while highlighting key promotions to drive future sales.”
Headquartered in Springfield, Mass., Big Y has 57 stores throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts, and is one of the largest independently owned supermarket chains in New England.
