A 65,798-sq.-ft. neighborhood center in the Houston suburb of Greenspoint has been purchased for $15 million, or about $228 per square foot, according to the
Chron website. Deal broker CBRE said that’s one of the highest prices paid for retail space in the area on a square-foot basis.
"Retail investment demand remains strong in Houston with record absorption and occupancy in different parts across the city," said CBRE’s Richard Rizika, who handled the sale of West Road Collection for owner JW Rich Investment Co. The buyer was Hass Holdings.
Greenspoint has access to Interstate 45 and Beltway 8 and is six miles from George Bush Airport.
