Big Lots 3Q Income Down

Columbus, Ohio Closeout retailer Big Lots said third-quarter net income fell 15% to $12.2 million from $14.3 million earned in the year-earlier quarter.

Revenue for the period, ended Nov.1, fell 0.9% to $1.02 billion. Same-store sales fell 0.2%.
