Bi-Lo online recipe center promotes local produce

NEW YORK Supermarket Bi-Lo is highlighting local produce on its Web site.

On Bi-Lo.com visitors can access recipes from local farmers that utilize the same local produce found in stores, the company reported. According to Bi-Lo, registered site users can browse more than 64,000 great recipes, check out the "Recipe of the Day" or view cooking videos. Users also can  'Ask the Chef' for expert advice on cooking, ingredient selection, menus, event planning and more.
