Concord, California-based specialty beverage retailer BevMo is ensuring customers have easy access to products, whether they are in one of its 157 stores or online.
BevMo has launched a new omnichannel program using the NCR E-commerce Click & Collect platform. The retailer had previously deployed NCR Advanced Checkout 7 and Advanced Marketing Solution integrated promotional offer-delivery engine at all stores. With the launch of the Magento Enterprise-based NCR e-commerce solution, members of the ClubBev! loyalty program can now have the shopping experience in-store or online.
“The greatest benefit of the new platform is that BevMo can now take full advantage of our CRM capabilities by initiating promotional offers to specific ClubBev! members that are properly managed no matter whether the shopper comes to our stores or chooses to shop online,” said Dan Carter, BevMo CFO.
The platform enables shoppers to initiate transactions on the BevMo website, for example, then complete them via in-store pickup. While online, shoppers can select items, gain access to pricing information and promotions, and choose standard and mobile payment options.
Increasingly, food and beverage customers are expecting the convenience of omnichannel click and collect, which lets them select items online for quick and easy in-store pickup. By integrating click and collect with its existing robust loyalty program, BevMo is helping ensure loyal shoppers will stay that way.
