Best Buy spent $340,000 lobbying in Q2
Washington D.C. Best Buy Co. spent $340,000 in the first quarter to lobby the federal government on labor and other issues, according to a disclosure report.
That's double the $170,000 that Best Buy spent in last year's first quarter, and up 70% from the $200,000 it spent in fourth quarter 2009.
Best Buy also lobbied the federal government on legislation involving banking, the environment, energy, the tax code, and other issues, according to the report filed on April 20.
