Best Buy spent $170K lobbying in first quarter

Richfield, Minn. Best Buy spent $170,000 in the first quarter to lobby the federal government on issues related to electronics.

According to a disclosure report filed April 20 with the House Clerk’s office, Best Buy is lobbying on electronics recycling issues, as well as legislation related to the digital-television conversion, union organizing and credit-card financing.
