Best Buy Names Dunn President

Minneapolis, Best Buy promoted Brian J. Dunn to president and chief operating officer of the company and Robert A. Willett to CEO of Best Buy International. The company also has expanded the roles of Shari L. Ballard, executive VP of human resources and legal, and of Darren R. Jackson, executive VP - finance and CFO. In addition, Best Buy announced that Allen U. Lenzmeier has decided to remain in his current role as vice chairman.

Dunn, age 45, previously had served as president of retail - North America, responsible for more than 930 high-performing consumer electronics stores, including Best Buy, Future Shop, Geek Squad and Magnolia Audio Video stores in the United States and Canada.
