Best Buy inks deal with Bridge2Solutions
RICHFIELD, Minn. Best Buy on Tuesday announced that a provider of incentive, consumer and performance rewards systems is the first to adopt its Best Buy Commerce API platform, which allows partners to conduct Best Buy commerce within their own e-commerce or Web-based applications.
Starting Oct. 18, Bridge2Solutions will use this new Best Buy API for its loyalty and incentive programs driven by major marketers. Consumers redeeming rewards points through these third-party programs will have full access to the consumer technology products available through Best Buy.
“Our partnership with Bridge2Solutions is the latest example of our work to bridge physical and digital retail experiences for consumers,” said Michele Azar, VP emerging platforms at Best Buy. “By making the things we sell, the things we know, and the services we provide available through third-party partners and developers, we can create more contextual and personal experiences for each of our customers, wherever they are.”
