Los Angeles – Commercial builder Bernards is constructing two mixed-use, multifamily projects in Southern California that will include a strong retail presence. Bernard’s is nearing the end of the construction phase for the new, 303-unit Camden Glendale (formerly Glendale Triangle), a seven-story project designed to appeal to “Gen-X” professionals.
Camden Glendale, located in Glendale, California, opened in early April and is leasing apartments. Bernards is also under way on the construction of The Camden, a 287-unit, mixed-use urban infill project in Hollywood, California. Camden US, Inc. is the developer for both projects.
Designed by TCA Architects, the 315,391-sq.-ft. Camden Glendale includes six retail spaces on the ground floor. The Camden, also designed by TCA Architects, is a 287-unit, five-story multifamily residential development with retail/commercial components. Equinox Fitness will occupy ground floor space and a portion of the lobby.
