Bed Bath & Beyond 2Q Profit Drops

Union, N.J. Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. said its second-quarter profit fell to $119.3 million from $147 million in the year-ago period. Revenue rose to $1.85 billion from $1.77 billion last year.

Meanwhile, same-store sales for the second quarter declined 0.1%.
