Beckmann honored with design award

LOS ANGELES Textiles designer and colorist Barbara Beckmann received the 2008 Trailblazer Award from the International Furnishings and Design at the IFDA Industry Forum and Conference in Los Angeles.

Beckmann is best known for her work with handpainted and printed silks. She was selected to design fabrics for the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas.
