Bass Pro Shops makes New England debut

Bass Pro Shops has begun construction on its first Outdoor World in New England to open on Nov. 15. Located in Foxborough, Mass., the new Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World will be part of the new Patriot Place development project, a 1.3 million square foot lifestyle and entertainment center.

According to the company, the Foxborough store will be designed to showcase the outdoor heritage of New England and include state record fish and wildlife exhibits and historical pictures and artifacts from local hunters and fishermen.

“We are excited about bringing Bass Pro Shops to the New England area and Foxborough specifically,” said Bass Pro Shops president Jim Hagale. “We believe this highly visible and accessible location will allow us to better serve our many customers and the many outdoor enthusiasts that visit and live in this beautiful area of the country.”

Bass Pro Shops will staff approximately 250-300 associates from the area who are experts in outdoor activities. The store will also offer free Outdoor Skills Workshops for adults, kids and families.
