Barnes & Noble to sell used CDs and DVDs online
New York City Barnes & Noble said Tuesday that it is selling new and used CDs and DVDs online through its Marketplace program at barnesandnoble.com.
The selection, a mix of new and old titles, is designed to expand the current lineup of used book titles already available for sale on barnesandnoble.com through B&N Marketplace.
The retailer said the new and used CDs and DVDs will ship directly to consumers just like the other B&N Marketplace products. When a customer chooses a CD, DVD or book, the search results pages will show prices for both new copies and, when available, used copies. Customers can then click through the selections and decide which option is best suited for them.
