Barnes & Noble to open in Asheville, N.C.

New York City Barnes & Noble plans to open a new bookstore on March 18 at the Asheville Mall in Asheville, N.C. Concurrently, the existing nearby Barnes & Noble location will close.

The 40,000-sq.-ft. store will be the company’s largest location in North Carolina. The store will feature 200,000 book, music, DVD and magazine titles, as well as a cafe, children's department, RedDotNet technology, wireless Internet and a community center
