Barnes & Noble names exec VP across channels

New York City Barnes & Noble said Tuesday it has named Jamie Iannone as executive VP, shopping, Barnes & Noble.com and Barnes & Noble digital.

Iannone will focus on optimizing the online shopping experience for the millions of Barnes & Noble customers, as well as managing various new business opportunities and other strategic initiatives. He will report to William Lynch, president of Barnes & Noble.com.

Iannone joined Barnes & Noble from eBay, where he was most recently the company’s VP global search, the largest single investment area at eBay.
