Barnes & Noble adds 11 blogs to site
New York City Barnes & Noble has added a “Blogging Booksellers” feature to its Barnes & Noble Studio, an online destination featuring A Web video series and multimedia content about books, readers and writers.
Blogging Booksellers is a program where Barnes & Noble booksellers from various stores around the country create and upload their own video blogs about their latest recommended reads and local store events.
The video blogs, updated weekly, offer a real-life and personalized account of recommended weekly reads, news about local store events, and other news from Barnes & Noble’s stores and Web site (www.bn.com).
In addition, the “Store Locator” on Barnes & Noble.com now allows visitors to identify stores with Blogging Booksellers in residence, a way for consumers to find their local “celeb” bloggers, the company said.
