Bacchi named chief information officer at Choice Logistics
Robert Bacchi, Choice Logistics’ SVP of information systems has been named the company’s EVP and chief information officer. Bacchi will continue to report to Michael Katz, CEO of Choice.

In his new role, Bacchi will continue to oversee software development, application integration, and business intelligence. Additionally, he will be accountable for technology infrastructure, network security, and business continuity processes.

Robert has an extensive experience as an information technology professional across a variety of industry verticals, with a specific concentration on logistics His expertise in the field stems from more than 20 years of owning and operating an IT consultancy that was one of the first to develop supply chain applications using a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, according to the company.
Bacchi holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science and mathematics from Queens College, City University of New York.
