GAP INC. BUMPS SIMMONS TO CFO
SAN FRANCISCO —Sabrina Simmons, currently senior vp of corporate finance and a six-year Gap Inc. finance veteran, is being promoted to the newly-created position of evp of Gap Inc. finance. She will also serve as acting cfo, following the departure of current cfo Byron Pollitt, who is leaving the company to pursue an opportunity in another industry, effective Sept. 14.
