A&P to offer fish from Fulton Fish Market
MONTVALE, N.J. The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company announced that it has become the first supermarket chain in the Northeast to partner with a company from the Fulton Fish Market at Hunt's Point, Bronx, New York. The new agreement brings seafood specialties traditionall offered only at fish markets to A&P supermarkets.
A&P reported that the seafood will be available under the “Seafood Joe’s Market Fresh Fish” trade name at select A&P, Waldbaum’s, The Food Emporium and Super Fresh locations. Items will include premium fresh fish, shellfish, seasonal offerings and organic fish.
The Seafood program will be available in 64 banner stores by mid-April, the company reported, with more stores launching throughout the year.
