A&P appoints new vice chairman and CSO

MONTVALE, N.J. A&P appointed Andreas Guldin to the position of vice chairman and CSO reporting directly to Christian Haub, executive chairman.

Guldin originally joined the company in May 2007 as executive managing director, strategy & corporate development and at the same time joined the BOD of A&P.

During his time at the company, Guldin was instrumental in the negotiation and closing of the Pathmark transaction. More recently he successfully lead the company’s efforts in securing new equity financing from both Tengelmann and Yucaipa, enabling A&P to raise additional financing in the public debt markets.  In this new position, Guldin will take a larger role in guiding the company’s long-term strategy development.
