Another retailer hiring for Halloween rush

Rockaway, N.J. - In anticipation for the Halloween season, Party City will hire an additional 20,000 employees nationwide.



The retailer is hiring Halloween associates to undertake a variety of positions at its 900 stores.



Employees undergo a specialized training program to gain Halloween costume product knowledge.



“The Halloween season is our busiest time of the year, and additional staff is needed to ensure Party City customers receive the best possible service while shopping in our stores,” said Jim Viola, VP, head of HR for Party City. “Depending on specific store staffing needs, many opportunities exist for employees to continue working after Halloween. Seasonal employment at Party City provides valuable retail experience and can possibly lead to a long-term career in retail.”
