Ann Taylor exec is the new chief at Justice

Ascena Retail Group has namedBrian Lynch, a 35-year fashion and retail industry veteran, as president and CEO of its Justice stores.

Lynch most recently served as president of Ann Taylor brand. Previously, he held executive positions with Ann Inc.; Gap Inc.; Learningsmit Inc.; and The Walt Disney Co.



Lynch replaces Michael Rayden, who retired in January. Rayden had announced his retirement in October, and Ascena subsequently launched a search for his replacement.



“We are extremely pleased to have someone with Brian’s talent and experience assume leadership of Justice,” Ascena CEO David Jaffe. “Justice sits atop this specialty market and Brian is the right person to build upon the position.”



Justice operates more than 1,000 stores in the United States and around the world.
