Ann Taylor appoints new cfo

New York Ann Taylor Stores has appointed its new evp and cfo, the company revealed Monday.

Michael Nicholson, a former evp of Limited Brands, and cio and cfo of Victoria’s Secret Beauty Co., will assume his positions at Ann Taylor immediately.

"Mike is an accomplished leader with a rich and diverse financial background in retail as well as in consumer products,” said Ann Taylor ceo Kay Krill. “His depth of experience in our industry, along with his expertise in driving operational excellence and effectively managing cost structure, will serve us well at Ann Taylor. We are very excited to welcome him to the company in this critical role."

Nicholson said that Ann Taylor has potential for growth, which he is excited to be part of.
