American Sale selects Knotice to improve e-mail marketing

New York City Home-recreation retailer American Sale has selected Knotice’s Concentri EmailPlus to improve the targeting and timeliness of its e-mail marketing communications.

“Good e-mail marketing for e-retailers not only requires good preference and subscription management, but also the ability to capture and use behavioral data effectively to improve the customer experience and increase sales,” said Rick Septoski, marketing manager for American Sale, Tinley Park, Ill., which operates seven superstores in Illinois. “Gaining further insights into our customers is very important to us, and Knotice’s software is ideal because it brings together a variety of key data sources with its universal profile management system to enable highly targeted, triggered e-mail marketing campaigns.”  

American Sale plans to introduce new e-mail marketing initiatives based heavily in message relevance and automated campaigns. Using any type of data to power e-mail marketing strategies and tactics is one of the core principles Concentri EmailPlus was specifically designed for, according to Knotice co-founder and CEO Brian Deagan.
