American Apparel names interim cfo

LOS ANGELES American Apparel announced that effective immediately, William Gochnauer has joined the company as interim cfo.

Prior to American Apparel, Gochnauer had been interim cfo at Red Envelope, a publicly traded national catalog and online retailer of upscale gifts, since 2006.

Ken Cieply, the company’s outgoing cfo, has stepped down to pursue other opportunities. He has agreed to make himself available to assist in the transition.
