Amazon.com Starts Knowledge-Sharing Site

Seattle, Amazon.com has launched a Web site, Askville.com, where users can ask and answer questions on a variety of subjects including how to buy an HDTV and the best way to lose weight.

Askville.com had been open to a select number of users since its initial beta launch last December, but now it is available worldwide.
