Amazon.com completes acquisition of Zappos.com

SEATTLE Amazon.com announced the completion of its acquisition of Zappos.com, an online apparel and footwear retailer. Amazon.com previously announced that it had reached an agreement to acquire Zappos.com on July 22.

The Zappos management team will remain intact, and Zappos will operate independently with headquarters in Las Vegas.
