Amazon to test 30-hour workweek
Amazon.com is going to give select employees the chance to work a shorter week for reduced pay — but with full benefits.
According to a report in The Washington Post, the Internet giant is going to pilot a program to test technical teams entirely made up of salaried employees who work 30 hours per week and receive the same benefits as traditional 40-hour workers, but for 75% of the pay full-time workers earn.
