Amazon teams up with Ibotta on rebates

Amazon.com is getting deeper into the cash rewards game by partnering with a rebate shopping app.

For the first time ever, Ibotta will make it possible for anyone shopping on Amazon.com to earn cash rebates.

Amazon shoppers can download the app for free to their phone, check which products have Amazon.com rebates available, follow the link to make a purchase, and checkout like normal. Ibotta verifies the purchase with Amazon.com and provides cash directly into their Ibotta account, usually the same day.

Ibotta has emerged as a popular shopping app this holiday season, paying consumers real cash simply for shopping at the places they love most.
