Seattle –- Amazon.com will start offering daily Black Friday deals on Saturday, Nov. 1. Amazon will also start offering two Deals of the Day every day through Monday, Dec. 22.
Other holiday promotions Amazon is currently offering include Amazon Smile, a duplicate of the regular Amazon site available at smile.amazon.com that donates a portion of every purchase to charity, visual and voice-based smartphone search capability, same-day delivery in 12 major metro areas, and early access on select deals on the Amazon and MyHabit sites for Amazon Prime members.
In addition, new this year, customers can add items they find on Twitter to their Amazon shopping cart or Wish List without leaving their Twitter feed. When customers discover a tweet with an Amazon.com product link, they can add #AmazonCart or #AmazonWishList to their reply on Twitter and the product is added to their cart or Wish List.
“Starting in November, millions of holiday shoppers come to Amazon hunting for the best deals and that one perfect gift,” said Steve Shure, Amazon VP worldwide marketing. “This year, we will have more than 15,000 hand-selected, limited time promotions on hot products, including new early access deals for Prime members on many Lightning Deals from Amazon.com and daily sales events on MyHabit.”
