Amazon Opens New Fulfillment Center

Seattle, Amazon has announced plans to open a new fulfillment center in Indiana, the company said. Operated by Amazon.com, the new facility, located in Munster, Ind., will be approximately 75,000 sq. ft. and will create 75 to 100 full-time jobs, with an additional 100 temporary jobs during the 2007 holiday season.

The facility will fulfill orders for products from Amazon’s media, hard lines, and other categories.
